Bird Banding
The Crawford Park District welcomes Bob Scott Placier back for his 19th year of setting up and monitoring mist nets, collecting data, and banding birds at Lowe-Volk Park. Bird banding is used to study lifespans, behavior and social structure, population growth, dispersal, migration, and reproductive success in birds.
