9am - 12pm: Meet at the 4-Way to beautify the Butte. Help clean up public spaces, recycle electronics, and drop yard waste or donations. Volunteers will receive a $20 gift card to a local restaurant, and there will be prizes for craziest trash found!

12pm - 3pm: After the trash, stay for the bash with an Elk Avenue Street Party! Hang out with music, games, restaurant specials, and good neighborly vibes (did someone say pickleball in the street?)

Donation Truck:
Six-Points Thrift Store will have a truck accepting gently used clothing and household items for donation. 

Yard Waste Recycling by Elements Mountain Compost: 
Acceptable Items:
- Leaves
- Grass clippings
- Garden clippings
- Wood Chips
- Saw Dust
 
NOT Accepted:
- Branches, twigs, stumps
- Woody material that you cannot bend in half with one hand
- Sod
 - Rocks & dirt

NO PAPER LEAF BAGS! All bagged yard waste must be contained in plastic or compostable bags only!  If you’d like to bring a re-usable container, you can empty the yard waste directly into the truck. Loads less than 1 cubic yard (about 1 full truck bed) are free. Loads greater than 1 cubic yard are $5 per cubic yard. 

Electronics Recycle: 
The Town of Crested Butte and Waste Management are excited to give residents the opportunity to recycle electronics responsibly at our annual Community Cleanup. We can only accept cash or check payments. See the list below for prices.

- Cards/Cables
- Speakers
- Keyboards/Mice 

Recycle for a price: 
- Computer monitors- $10
- Desktop printers/copiers- $5
- Electric yard equipment- $20
- Large batteries - $5
- TVs (measured diagonally):
          - Up to 27”- $1/in
          - Over 27” - $1.50/in 
  
Dumper for Trash:
Don’t dump your junk on the curb! A dumpster will be available for miscellaneous trash that can't be recycled.

The following items will NOT be accepted:
- Large furniture
- Concrete
- Paint
- Mattresses
- Refrigerators/freezers
- Railroad ties
- Tires
- Hazardous materials.
