The official word was bad water contamination had led to the town being shut down and almost completely erased from the maps. However, the rumor was that the mine dug too deep and unearthing something…. Unnatural.


20 years later, a government document archive site was being moved to a new facility. A contractor saw an obscure memo was on the floor. What wasn’t redacted, referenced a case of three the residents of Yellow Dog having psychotic episodes of sudden murderous rage that left 6 dead and 3 wounded. Those wounded would later seem to suffer the same psychosis.


All subjects had increased strength, durability, and seemed to have unnaturally long lives.


Two major corporations have learned of that memo and that something beneath the ground of Yellow Dog might be the next breakthrough in biotech research. Extended life, heightened reflexes, increased durability.
