Event: 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM
Just $1 entry  - that dollar goes straight into the prize pot and is awarded to the winner!
How the Poetry Slam Works:

Everyone is welcome - any age can participate!
Poets write their name on a slip and drop it in the popcorn tub.
17 poets will be randomly selected to compete.
Each poet must come prepared with 3 memorized poems (max 3 minutes per poem).
Poems must be respectful  * no hate speech, no judgment.
Five audience members will be randomly selected to judge each round.
Three rounds total. 
The poet with the highest total score wins the money collected at the door.

Whether you’re a seasoned poet or someone who’s never shared before, this is a safe, fun, supportive environment to express yourself. Bring your friends and family to cheer you on
