Sheriff Jared Miller is proud to announce Operation Angelfish, an upcoming community-centered initiative welcoming DJ Daniel to Wakulla County from July 25–30, 2025.
DJ Daniel, a beloved figure and honorary deputy in the hearts of many, has officially been called up for “active duty” in Wakulla County by Sheriff Miller himself. During his stay, DJ Daniel will shore up his training and sharpen his skills at the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office range, participate in a deputy ride-along, and experience the very best our county has to offer.
His visit will include unforgettable experiences such as:
• Inshore and offshore fishing adventures
• A visit to beautiful Wakulla Springs
• Community meet-and-greets
• A special banquet in his honor
• Lunches and dinners at local restaurants
• Stops at notable Wakulla locations and businesses
• Relaxation at a peaceful waterfront home getaway
To commemorate the journey, a professional film crew from the outdoor adventure series Fish N' Flo will be documenting DJ Daniel’s experience. The feature will air on Real America’s Voice Network’s Pursuit Channel, shining a national spotlight on Wakulla County and its incredible hospitality.
More details will be released as the event approaches, including opportunities for residents to meet DJ Daniel and help show him what makes Wakulla County truly special.
