All are welcome at this fun, friendly volunteer event!

What’s involved: This volunteer event will begin at the Hand Hollow parking lot on County Road 9. From the parking lot, attendees will be transported to nearby Spiegelberg Lake, a more remote location with limited parking that neighbors Hand Hollow. Once at the lake, participants will paddle a kayak while removing water chestnuts and may be in direct sunlight for an extended period of time.

What to bring: Please bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and wear weather-appropriate clothing and footwear. Kayaks will be provided.
