Are you the parent who holds the schedule, the backup plan, and the mental load - often without realizing how much you’re carrying?
This gathering is for parents who are tired of being the “hub,” the go-to, the one who figures it out when something falls apart. It’s for parents who are competent, caring, and quietly exhausted - and who want space to pause, connect, and feel supported.
The Default Parent’s Survival Guide is a 90-minute, low-pressure workshop designed to help you:
- Understand how default parenting patterns form (and why it’s not a personal failing)
- Identify what you’re carrying that may not need to be yours alone
- Learn practical, doable ways to shift how responsibility is held in your family
- Connect with other parents who get it - without fixing, judging, or performing
This is not a lecture or a class you have to keep up with.
It’s a place to sit down, eat lunch, and be in community.
We’re hosting this gathering at Artisan Bites, a fast-growing, mom–owned Rhode Island café rooted in care, warmth, and connection. Lunch and drinks are included - come as you are.
Facilitated by Peace of Mind Nannies and Kim Paull Coaching, this workshop brings together practical insight, compassionate conversation, and real-world support. Attendees will also receive access to exclusive discounts on coaching and childcare services.
If you’ve been feeling stretched thin, a little lonely, or like you’re holding everything together by yourself - this space was created with you in mind.
You don’t have to do this alone.
