Today's play reading is THREE BY ONE: Short plays by Rosemary Parrillo

Sheila and the DMV

Abby agrees to take a new congregant to the DMV to get her New Jersey driver’s license. But when the well-off straight-laced Jersey Shore resident shows up at Sheila’s Atlantic City motel room, she quickly realizes it’s going to be a bumpy ride.

Our Man in China
An American adjunct English teacher working in Beijing

applies for a new job through a Chinese employment agency and eventually discovers things are not always what they seem.

The Kids’ Table
It’s Thanksgiving and once again Skip and his siblings are stuck at the Kids’ Table, which wouldn’t be so bad if they weren’t all in their 50s. As octogenarian aunts and uncles obliviously feast at the Adult Table in the adjacent dining room, Skip's resentment boils over into a near family rebellion.
