CDC THEATRE ANNOUNCES AUDITIONS FOR "FIDDLER ON THE ROOF"
Auditions are THURSDAY JAN 8 at 7pm and SATURDAY JAN 10 at 10am. Callbacks are MONDAY JAN 12 at 6pm. Our performances are MAY 1, 2, 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17.
No need to sign up online in advance or schedule a slot! ALL ROLES OPEN! Adults, children, all levels of experience.
Performers will come prepared to sing something that showcases their talent, with sheet music on paper. A number from the show is fine, but not required.
Auditioners will be asked to read from sides of the show that we will provide in hard copy, as well as have accessible in advance on our website, so that actors can be familiar with the request, if they so choose.
Movement/Dance will be part of the Audition. After 10-15 auditioners, we will bring those 10-15 back on stage and teach the movement. Director/Choreographer Emma Schwartz will also be providing a video for access in advance through the website.
Actors will be asked to provide any and ALL conflicts at the time of Audition, for rehearsals between JAN 15 and our performances. Tech Week and ALL performances is a mandatory. Resumes and headshots appreciated, but not mandatory.
