Father's Day Cake Demo

The Elk Creek Township Historical Society hosts 2026's sixth session of the 5th Annual Speaker Series welcoming Kim Graham, presenting and demonstrating on location down the road from The Little Church on the Hill at the Cranesville Community Church, who has graciously let us borrow their basement kitchen space. This will help keep our cakes and icing a little cooler during the decorating!

This will be an informal presentation and hands on demonstration, so please feel free to come with questions as our atmosphere lends itself to be a cozy and comfortable safe space to ask questions and share your stories and experiences! All attendees will go home with a cake that they've decorated just in time for Father's Day!

The event is planned to be held in person with a Live Feed available on our Facebook Page as long as our technology cooperates, but will be exclusively streamed online as a alternate option if we are unable to host in-person. This event is free, but donations are always appreciated and go directly towards the continuing maintenance and restoration of The Little Church on the Hill by The Elk Creek Township Historical Society.

Our mission with the Speaker Series is to benefit our Community with topics relating to history, local life, and culture. If you have any suggestions of topics you'd like to see in a future presentation or are interested in presenting, please contact us.
