This event honors the memory of Helene Cody, who passed away from a brain aneurysm on her 16th birthday in 2008. Helene had planned to revive the Cranbury Day 5K that had been previously discontinued as a way to combine her love of running with her commitment to community service. 

After her passing, one of Helene's classmates hosted the inaugural Helene Cody Cranbury 5K to fulfill that vision. Since then, the race has become a beloved Cranbury Day tradition, bringing the community together while raising funds for the Helene Cody Foundation's youth service projects and scholarships. Every participant helps carry forward Helene's legacy of community, compassion, and caring. 

T-shirts are guaranteed to those who register by August 6th! T-shirts will be given to registrants while supplies last for those who register after August 6th.
