No cell phones! This is a BRAIN GAME! No smart devices, no smart watches, no laptops no tablets just you & your team mate… No outside help (internet, phone etc.) of any kind, including during breaks! If you are caught, your team will be disqualified
Please Don’t yell out answers in the middle of a round. If you are not playing and you know an answer make someone who is playing buy you a shot, a beer, food or something in exchange for the answer!
Always give 1 definitive answer
The game is comprised of 4 or more rounds of 7 questions including 1 bonus question that will increase in value every round. During the round each correct answer is worth 20 points unless otherwise noted. At the end of each round, The host will collect the answer cards, check your answers, calculate the scores & give them back to you, we will then go over the answers. The team with the highest score wins that round.
Once you turn in your answer card your answers are final you can’t take it back & revise anything.
The host has the final say on all rule interpretations and disputes
Name that tune: During a NTT round or game we will only play the song twice for no more than 5 seconds. We will not go back at the end and repeat a song a 3rd time so listen closely! In order for you to get full credit(total number of points allowed w/o bonus) for a correct answer you must provide the name of the artist & song title, you can still get half credit for just the title or artist’s name.
Bonus points for whoever brings their answer card up first, you must be seated at your table with your team, no throwing, no tripping no body checking
BONUS POINTS there are a few chances to be awarded bonus points.
Each team has the option to select their own bonus round once per night, in that one round for every correct answer your score will be doubled, for every wrong answer or answer you leave blank you will lose 10 points
50 (or more) points for the best/funniest team name
20 points for winning a tiebreaker
50 points for a perfect score (per round)
10 points (max 40 per team) for social media check in.
15 points per (max 60/ team) posting selfie w/ check in.
20 points (max 80/ team) posting video/boomerang w/check in
