During this program, we will walk around Lake Maratanza and learn about the globally rare dwarf pine ridges, cliff communities, chestnut oak forests, and perched bogs, which are all visible from the carriage road around the Lake. Participants should come prepared with appropriate clothing, sturdy footwear and plenty of water. Meet at the Sam’s Point Visitor Center.
