Messtival

Wilson Public Library invites the community to make a creative splash at its 2nd Messtival celebration, a lively event to go along with Robert Henri's birthday. Taking place Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 10 AM - 12 Noon at Muny Park’s soccer fields, this all-ages mini-festival promises to be an explosion of color, laughter, and hands-on art. Don’t worry, we won’t forget the shaving cream!

Participants of all ages can expect messy, immersive activities designed to spark imagination and play. Each experience, brought to you by a variety of Dawson County organizations, will encourage attendees to unleash their inner artist in a relaxed, outdoor setting. Messtival is FREE.

What to Bring:
Mess-ready clothes and shoes (staining possible)


A towel for clean-up
