- **Event Description**: The C.E.B. Memorial 100th Meridian 10K is the revival of one of central Nebraska’s largest 10K’s from back in the 1980’s.  At one point this 10K had almost 300 runners competing.  The race will honor the life and work of Claude and Jane Berreckman.  All proceeds will go towards scholarships for students from Cozad High School pursuing a college education.

Race Information: Races will begin and end near the town square of Cozad at 8th & Meridian.  Maps of the course can be found at 5K/10K Map Both courses are flat, fast and will follow the original courses used when C.E. Berreckman organized this race back in the 80’s.  Both the 5K and 10K race start at 8:00 a.m.  1 mile kids race will start at 7:30 a.m. Walkers are welcome.

Registration and Packet Pick-up Information: Register by mail with the entry below or online at http://bit.ly/100thMeridian10K Packet pickup will be at Berreckman and Bazata Law Office at 8th & Meridian in Cozad from 6:30 to 7:30 the morning of the race.  

Facilities: Shower facilities will be available after the race at 16th & E at the Community Wellness Center.

Awards: Overall Male/Female as well as the top 3 in each age division. $100 Gift Certificate to Running Wearhouse to Overall 10K Men’s and Women’s winners. $50 Gift Certificate to Running Wearhouse to Overall 5K Men’s and Women’s winners. The popular “Be There” socks to age group winners. 
 
Additional Information: 10K/5K  $30 Entry fee includes race, refreshments, t-shirt, a movie pass to the Fox Theater in Cozad. 1 Mile Kids Run includes medals to top 3 in each age group, shirt, Kids Movie pass to Fox Theatre and a cookie!
