- **Event Description**: Our local Boy Scouts work hard year-round learning leadership, responsibility, service, and outdoor skills that shape them into strong young men. One of the most meaningful experiences for many of these scouts is attending summer camp, where they build confidence, develop new skills, earn badges and strengthen lifelong friendships. However, the cost of camp is now over $300 per scout, which can make it difficult for some families.

To help offset these costs, Veedersburg Boy Scout Troop 272 will be hosting a Chili Supper Fundraiser.

� 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
� VFW – Covington, Indiana

The scouts will be serving delicious chili, peanut butter sandwiches, toppings, and desserts, and free-will donations are welcome. Every dollar raised will go directly toward helping our scouts attend summer camp.

We are also welcoming donations for the supper such as plates, napkins, or other supplies. Anyone interested in supporting the event through donations can contact Scout Leaders or Rhonda Cooper, Megan Whitaker, or myself.

This is a great opportunity for our community to come together and invest in the next generation of leaders. We hope you will consider stopping by for a meal, bringing your family, and supporting these hardworking scouts.
