A Bluegrass Music Festival is coming to Covington! On March 2, Court Street will transform into center stage for the Bonded Spirit Bluegrass Festival, where the age-old heritage of bourbon meets the heartwarming strings of Bluegrass music. The street will be covered by an enormous heated tent with a stage, beer garden, and plenty of room to sip, eat, and dance!

General Admission - GOING FAST!

• Our general admission ticket will grant you admission to the “Roebling Rickhouse” tent where you will be able to enjoy all 3 live bands from 5-10 PM!
• Food, beer, and cocktails are not included in the ticket, but will be available for purchase. (Standing Room Only)
• Must be 21+

Moonshine Drive: Known for their dynamic blend of bluegrass, country, folk, and classic rock, this high-energy band has become a local favorite in Northern KY and Cincinnati.

Sister Sadie: With intricate harmony singing and exceptional instrumental talent, Sister Sadie delivers an unforgettable Bluegrass performance, as recognized by Rolling Stone.

The Goodwin Brothers: From Kentucky, this trio mixes Bluegrass and Americana with a contemporary twist, known for their soulful harmonies and skilled instrumentals.

Held the first weekend in March, the fest is named after the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897, a bourbon purity law that passed in March of that year and was advocated for by Covington's own John G. Carlisle.

Attendees can expect nationally recognized Bluegrass acts performing on a stage backdropped by the iconic Roebling Bridge and plenty of bourbon. In the spirit of celebration, the festival also hosts a competition to crown the best Bottled-in-Bond Cocktail, enlisting bartenders from across the Commonwealth to showcase creativity and highlight the unique qualities of BIB spirits. New Riff Distillery is a proud sponsor of the competition, and cocktails will be made with New Riff Bottled-in-Bond bourbon whiskey!

The Bonded Spirit Bluegrass Festival not only commemorates John G. Carlisle and the Bottled-in-Bond Act but, coupled with the local B-Line® self-guided bourbon tour, further emphasizes Northern Kentucky's pivotal role in bourbon history and solidifies its present status as a top-tier destination, promising an unparalleled bourbon experience.
