- **Event Description**: This half term join us at the Food Union allotment for a spring themed walk around our food growing site, investigating all the seasons new growth, searching for all our wild critter friends and sowing all the sunflowers and pumpkins in preparation for the summer ahead before retiring to social area for a pizza picnic.

This time of year the allotment is ready to burst with a new season of growth and the perimeters are alive with friendly insects and other beneficial fauna. We love hosting our younger allotmenteers as they're keen eyes always help us see the Food Union allotment from a fresh perspective and help us to slow down and appreciate the beauty of the changing season. 

After our tour and seed sowing we'll gather in the social area for individual pizzas cooked fresh in our pizza oven (courtesy of The Pod Café) and will also be treated to some lovely live music courtesy of Joanna Litten. 

This is a free event

This is a working site so please dress appropriately.

Access to Sherbourne Valley Allotments via Four Pounds Avenue. Watch out for the black board.
