Liz, Amanda and Julie’s first studio album was released earlier this year Tracks from the album have been played on BBC Introducing in the East Midlands and the song ‘Top of her Tree’ was selected as ‘track of the day’ for various local radio stations and was called ‘just joyful’. A recent review of the album said that while UK female folk trios remain few and far between, The Cartwheel Pennies are a fine addition to that currency.
