The Comox Valley Art Gallery is proud to support the practice of local creatives through our curated Winter Art Faire. This annual event harkens back to the fondly remembered Renaissance Faire hosted by our organization’s founders to showcase the talent of artists and artisans in and surrounding the Comox Valley.

We invite you to visit the gallery, peruse the work for sale, be inspired to make some art yourself, and enjoy complimentary seasonal refreshments — come and celebrate the holidays with us!

During December, the gallery hours are extended and include special events…

Regular Faire Hours: 

• 10am – 5pm, Tuesdays - Saturdays, from December 6 - 23

Special Hours:

• 12:30 - 5pm, Sunday, December 21 (Winter Solstice)
• 10am - 5pm on Monday, December 22
• 10am - 2pm on Wednesday, December 24 (Christmas Eve)

WINTER SOLSTICE CELEBRATION (SUNDAY, DECEMBER 21)

On the shortest day of the year — come celebrate the return of the light!

1 - 3pm | Facilitated Make Art Event • Solstice Lanterns, Luminous Stars, & Kaleidoscopes:

• All materials supplied to create these light-filled crafts to take home
• Activity is free and suitable for all ages
• This is a family-friendly activity

12:30 - 5pm | Holiday Shopping:

• The Comox Valley Art Gallery Winter Art Faire is open special hours on Sunday
• While here, visitors and Make Art participants can also enjoy some complimentary hot apple cider and gingerbread
