Founded by the late culinary advocate Anita Stewart, Food Day Canada is a national celebration of Canadian food, ingredients, and the people who grow, harvest, and cook them. It’s a chance for communities across the country to come together and recognize the richness and diversity of our local food culture—and no place showcases that better than the Comox Valley.

This event is FREE for anyone to attend and is a great opportunity for the "foody" is all of us to discover the what can be made with the bounty of local ingredients available at this time of year.  

There is something for everyone, whether you are a seasoned cook or just starting your journey.  The Chefs will be be preparing and sharing samples made from local, seasonal ingredients, and highlighting why food grown, raised, and crafted right here in Comox Valley is so special. 

Come on down between 9:30-12:30 to take in the sights, tastes and smells of the culinary delights that the Chefs will be whipping up. Don't forget to grab a recipe and ingredients so you can make these delicious dishes at home.  

Note that the Farmers' Market is open from 9-1 on Saturday.
