✨ About the Show
Set in the late 1970s, 9 to 5 — with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton — tells the outrageous, thought-provoking (and sometimes romantic) story of three female coworkers who’ve had enough. When pushed to the edge by their sexist, egotistical boss, Violet, Judy and Doralee hatch a plan to flip the script — giving their workplace a complete makeover and taking control. It’s a wild ride of empowerment, comedy, friendship… and a little revenge.
