The Rite of Candidacy is a public step in formation, recognizing that these men have completed their initial formation and are preparing to continue their journey toward the priesthood through four years of graduate studies in theology and pastoral practice.

This fall, Shawn will attend Saint Paul Seminary in Saint Paul, Minnesota, while Andrew and Michael will attend the Pontifical North American College in Rome. God willing, they will be ordained to the priesthood in 2030.
