For those who are new here, Maisy is Becca Wiggins (owner of Dusted Charm) daughter who lives with a rare genetic order called Spinal Muscular Atrophy. She is the “why” behind Dusted Charm and is a big reason why we do these give back events every month! 

Maisy & Marley’s purpose was created in honor of Maisy and Marley whom both were diagnosed with SMA type 1. The mission behind this nonprofit is to help families who are faced with the financial challenges of raising a child with critical medical needs. Our mission is to alleviate the financial burden parents often face so the family can remain in their home and focus on the child. Another mission of Maisy & Marley’s Purpose is to build an all-inclusive playground facility for Council Bluffs. In partnership with Council Bluffs Parks & Rec, HGM associates & Unlimited Play we have preliminary designs of the fully inclusive & accessible playground in Council Bluffs that will finally serve our ENTIRE community. We are hoping to design a one-of-a-kind destination experience that will elevate play to be for everyone, which will bring families together in play and joy. We truly believe this outdoor facility will put Council Bluffs on the map and attract so many from surrounding areas.
- A few features that will set this park apart from the rest: all-inclusive play structures, a fully accessible nature walking trail, miracle league style baseball fields, full size accessible restrooms with adult size changing tables, and several covered pavilions & picnic tables. 

Shop in store or online August 16th & 20% of our total sales will be donated to Maisy & Marley’s Purpose.
