Join our Post Christmas Leg Stretcher to the magical Narnia Trail and Banstead Woods and the Chipstead Downs Nature Reserve.
A great chance to walk off some of that Christmas excess with a relatively gentle walk around Banstead Downs with the highlight being the CS Lewis inspired Narnia Trail, where hidden in the woods are some amazing sculptures based on the popular book and film; the Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe.
We will set a very gentle pace and whilst the going under foot is easy there are a couple of short steep ups. However, any extra effort required will be well rewarded not only by the opportunity to immerse yourself in world of Narnia enjoying the wonderful setting for these fascinating sculptures there will also be the opportunity for a reviving hot drink (or something stronger if your prefer) at the aptly named Ramblers Rest pub on the edge of Chipstead.
Difficulty: Easy to Moderate
Duration: Approx. 2 ½ to 3 hours including a refreshment stop.

Facilities: Refreshments & Toilets: Available at the Ramblers Rest pub towards the end of the walk.
