Electronics Recycling Information

Electronics recycling will be provided by MRC Recycling. Some items require a disposal fee. Payment for negative value items may be made by cash or check.

Items with Fees (Negative Value Items):

• CRT TVs 26” and smaller – $30 each
 • CRT TVs 27” and larger – $50 each
 • LED / LCD / Plasma TVs – $20 each
 • Console / rear-projection TVs – $50 each
 • Freon-containing items – $10 each
 • CRT monitors – $5 each
 • Printers, copiers, and MFPs – $5 each

Acceptable Electronics:

• Computers and laptops
 • Hard drives and solid-state drives
 • LCD monitors
 • VCR, DVD, and Blu-ray players
 • Scanners and fax machines
 • Cell phones and tablets
 • Keyboards and mice
 • Kitchen appliances
 • Stoves, microwaves, and ovens
 • Washers and dryers
 • Medical and lab equipment
 • Lawn and garden equipment (oil and fuel removed)
 • DVR, cable, and satellite boxes
 • Servers, switches, and networking equipment


Unacceptable Items:

• Alkaline and single-use lithium batteries
 • Chemicals or liquids of any kind
 • CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, or floppy disks
 • Tanks or cylinders
 • Hazardous materials
 • PCB-containing ballasts
 • Smoke detectors and exit signs
 • Light bulbs and fluorescent tubes
 • Mattresses
 • Wooden furniture

Please note: Participants will be required to show proof of residency to take part in electronics recycling and paper shredding.
