School of Visual, Performing, and Design Arts Presents: OSU Jazz Ensemble - Fall Concert

From classic standards to modern, explorative arrangements, the OSU Jazz Ensemble covers the range of an extensive musical landscape. Within this big-band-sized ensemble, Director Ryan Biesack shapes and encourages musical conversations among the participants, resulting in a memorable evening of scripted music, improvisation, and discovery.

Ryan Biesack is an accomplished jazz drummer and director. His leadership of the Jazz Ensemble stresses the improvisatory nature of the form, and audiences will see him stepping on and off the podium throughout the evening.
