- **Event Description**: David Lewis, PhD, will talk about the formation of the Indian agencies in Oregon and the removal of the Kalapuyans and other tribes to reservations in the 1850s. The lecture will describe the reasons for location and placement of Forts Yamhill and Hoskins, and how the Forts played a large part in the early development of the reservations.

This lecture happens at the Corvallis Museum.

Registration required. These lectures are free to the public, thanks to the support of our generous Historical Society donors. Please use the ticket link to reserve your seat, as space is limited.
