If hiking, camping, or outdoor spaces haven’t always felt like they were made for you… we get it. And we’re here to change that. The woods aren’t reserved for the ultra-rugged, gear-obsessed, or loudest guy in the room. They belong to all of us. 

This free open house kicks off a new outdoor skills series created to empower women and non-binary folks of all ages, experience levels, and body-types to feel confident getting outside. Women in the Woods is about making the outdoors feel welcoming, doable, and safe- especially in a space that hasn’t always made room for everyone. The woods belong to all of us, and we’re here to help you reclaim your wild.

Never hiked before? You’re in.
Getting back into it after a break? Still you.

No prior experience, special gear, or fitness level required.
We’ll cover the basics (like the Ten Essentials), talk women-specific gear including plus-size options, and tackle real life outdoor questions. Like, how to pee in the woods without getting it on your boots.

This is the first class in a six-part series, which will build skills throughout the season and culminate in a guided overnight backpacking trip at the end of summer. You can join for one session or grow with us through the whole journey.
