February is the month of love – and love isn’t just for couples. Join us for Letter to an Elder Day and spread love to seniors in our community.
Drop by ZU anytime between 4pm-8pm on Thursday, February 26th to write a letter to a senior. We’ll provide stationery, pens, and inspiration. You bring the words.
Your letter will brighten someone’s day and remind them they’re valued. All letters will be delivered to seniors at the Montezuma County Senior Center.
How it works:
-Stop by ZU during open hours
-Grab some stationery and a pen
-Write a letter full of encouragement, memories, or just a friendly hello
-We’ll deliver them to the Montezuma County Senior Center
No RSVP needed. Stay for 10 minutes or an hour. Write one letter or five. Enjoy wine, coffee, or popcorn while you write.
Small gesture. Big impact. Love in action.
RSVP, Retired & Senior Volunteer Program for Montezuma County, is excited to be a partner in making love notes for seniors. Anyone aged 55 and up that comes to the event will be given a Mocktail or warm non-alcoholic beverage, like hot cocoa! We love to celebrate sharing love notes with our senior community. Come ready to make some fun notes, we'll provide lots of stuff to make meaningful notes to cheer up a neighbor in our community.
