The vibrations of sound played at certain frequencies can help to reduce stress, improve concentration and focus, support the immune system, lower blood pressure and improve sleep at night.Beginning a series of seasonal sound baths, this session will focus on Spring awakening, gentle renewal and softly opening the heart.I will guide you into the sound session with a meditation, breathing and affirmations, to help you connect with your own inner wisdom, before journeying through calming sounds.You may choose to be seated in a chair or lying down on a mat on the floor. You are encouraged to experience the session in the most comfortable position for you. Please bring your own pillow or cushion to ensure your maximum comfort. (You may also wish to bring a duvet or a blanket to lie on top of). Mats and blankets will be provided.There are two zero-gravity recliner chairs available for each session if you would prefer not to be on a mat. Please let me know in advance by email elspeth@pausetobe.co.uk if you would like to use one (available on a first-come, first served basis).Tea and refreshments will be offered at the end of the session and are included in your ticket.*Please also note that this event is not suitable for anyone in their first trimester of pregnancy, or those with sound induced epilepsy, unmanaged bipolar or psychosis. Participants should not attend if they are under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.
