For two years, we’ve held space downtown for artists to bring their voices to the mic. On March 8, we begin a new chapter on the Southside — a warm, multi-generational gathering inside Calypso Cafe.
This open mic is family and youth centered

— Bring your truth. Bring it with intention.
Whether you’re a seasoned poet, a first-time reader, a student, a parent, or simply someone who loves language — there is room for you here.
