Info: Dr. Joshua McGinty, Extension Agronomist, Corpus Christi, will give an update on W**d management protocols used and researched in 2025 and discuss new and existing chemistries that are available to row crop producers.
Info: Dr. Mark Matocha, Extension Program Specialist, College Station will be discussing laws and regulations with regards to producers use and responsibilities when using pest control products for crop management.
Info: Dr. Thomas Isakeit, Extension Plant Pathologist, College Station, will give an update on field crop diseases and treatments with emphasis on cotton and grain sorghum.
Info: Stephen Biles, Extension IPM Specialist, will be presenting on various insect issues along with crop treatment thresholds that occurred during the growing season. He will also touch on identifying a new pest Cotton Jassid and give an update on the pasture mealybug.
Info: Dr. Yuri Calil, Extension Economist, Corpus Christi, will be discussing current factors contributing to grain and cotton pricing and possible marketing opportunities.
Info: Dr. Stacy Hines, Extension Rangeland Habitat Management Specialist will conduct a plant identification exercise, discuss the results with participants and review control measures on problem species.
