Learn how the Santa Fe and California Southern victory shattered the railroad monopoly, transformed transportation to the Southland, and paved the way for Coronado's rise as a premier resort destination. Through historic photographs and compelling storytelling, this illustrated presentation explores how one pivotal railroad crossing reshaped the region's future—from ferries and grand hotels to the opening of Coronado's celebrated golf course in 1896.

Join us on Thursday, November 19th, at 5:30 pm for a wine & cheese reception followed by the lecture from 6:00 to 7:00 pm.
