There will be free talks on both days.
On Saturday, September 19th from 11:30-12:30, learn how to make a terrarium suited to grow Begonias. Many tropical Begonias require high humidity in order to thrive and growing them in terrariums makes this possible. Drop in, no registration needed.

On Sunday, September 20th from 11:30-12:30, join the experts from the Southern California Begonia Society for an introduction to begonia cultivation. Learn the basics of begonia care including propagation, soil mixes, fertilizers, and light conditions. Get expert tips and tricks to allow your new plants to flourish. Drop in, no registration needed.

The Southern California Begonia Society comprises amateur growers whose backyard nurseries yield fabulous specimens and an unusual range of leaf variations and growth habits. There are over 1,800+ Begonia species and hybrids and more are constantly being developed.

The exhibition will include various types of Begonias including canes, tuberous, rhizomatous, and Rex. Mature examples will be displayed in pots, terrariums, and will be available to buy.
The Show and Sale and Classes are free with $5 garden admission.
