- **Event Description**: Clean out your closet and bring your gently used clothing items to exchange for something new-to-you! It's a great way to refresh your wardrobe while being environmentally conscious in a world dominated by fast fashion - all without spending a dime.

Here's how it works:

Each person can bring anywhere from 2-15 items on the day of the event. When you arrive, you will check in with a volunteer and they will give you tickets in exchange for your items (1 item = 1 ticket). Once you have your tickets, feel free to browse clothing racks and tables to choose the items that will be coming home with you. When you're ready to head out, check out with a volunteer by exchanging your tickets for your new-to-you items. At the end of the event, all of the remaining clothing will be donated to a local organization or kept for a future clothing swap!

What types of items should I be bringing?

Please bring new or gently worn clothing items, shoes, bags, and accessories. If you wouldn’t loan it to a friend, leave it at home.
Consider: Is this item good enough to swap with a friend? Is it still in good, clean condition? Would you be excited to see this quality of clothing on the racks at a clothing swap?

Please remember that this is not an opportunity to get rid of every old item that is hiding in the back of your closet - if you bring clothing that is ripped, stained, torn, or dry-rotted in any way it will not be counted.

No intimates, sleepwear, socks, swimwear, or personalized clothing/clothing that includes names/clothing from fundraisers.
