- **Event Description**: Our last Intro to Sourdough class at R Farmhouse was such a success, we're doing it again! Join us for a hands-on Intro to Sourdough Class April 23rd at R. Farmhouse in collaboration with Roby Ranch from 5:30-7:30 where you’ll learn the basics of creating and caring for your own starter, mixing dough, and you will go home with a loaf to bake! Whether you’re brand new or have tried before, this class is designed to be approachable, practical, and fun.
Each participant will receive a packet of supplies, live starter to take home, a backup dehydrated starter, and a comprehensive information packet filled with step-by-step guidance and tried-and-true recipes. We’ll also have a raffle during class for a fun chance to take home an extra sourdough goodie! Best of all, your learning doesn’t stop when class ends—unlimited support is included, so you’ll have guidance every step of the way as you continue baking at home.
What to bring:
1.5 liter bowl
Kitchen scale
Fork
Small silicone mat
Spatula
Tea towel
Don’t have everything? No problem—we’ll have extra supplies on hand for you to use.

A $10 deposit is required to hold your spot, and all class communications will be sent via email, so please be sure to provide a valid email address when signing up to aamundson@corninghs.org no later the April 21st.
