A brand new Pixie Moss Meadows exclusive!
Friends… this one has been in the making for almost a year and I am so excited to finally share it with you. I am introducing our newest workshop in the Pixie lineup, the Isopod Tropical Terrarium Workshop. It is a magical little adventure into the world of moss, micro habitats, and the cutest tiny creatures ever.
Isopods, also known as pill bugs, potato bugs, rollie pollies, or wood lice, make the perfect little desk pets. They need very little space, are easy to care for, require almost no maintenance, and they are absolutely adorable. They are also fascinating arthropods who make wonderful learning companions for anyone who loves nature, science, or tiny magical things.
In this hands on workshop, you will create your own lush tropical terrarium and learn how isopods act as gentle forest keepers who help their mini world stay clean and thriving. You will build a beautiful bioactive habitat and take home your very own starter colony of potato bug friends.
The workshop is $60 per guest and includes everything you need. Your glass vessel, tropical plants, mosses, soil layers, decor elements, and your isopods are all provided. Light refreshments will also be available.
