Behind the name Majvi Superstar we find Sofia Kristensen, 23-year old artist and multi instrumentalist from Stockholm, Sweden. She has been active musician behind other Swedish artists for a few years but released her first own single “Fever Dreaming” in the autumn 2024. A new single will be released in the end of April 2025.
The music is a mix of indie rock and arty pop similar to artists as Weyes Blood or Big Thief. A debut album is being recorded and produced by Daniel Bengtson at studio Rymden, Daniel has earlier worked with artists such as First Aid Kit.
Majvi Superstar has already toured a lot in Sweden and played support to artists like Loney Dear, Linnea Henriksson and Haley Blais.
