Cordova, TN Join us for the Caspian 5 & 10 Miler at the beautiful Tour De Wolf Trails inside Shelby Farms Park. This summer trail race takes runners across flowing singletrack trails, shaded forests, open meadows, peaceful lake views, and the unforgettable Beaver Lake levee finish. The Tour De Wolf trail system is known for its smooth runnable dirt trails, gentle rolling terrain, and fast summer conditions. August is typically hot, dry, and fast, creating a fun challenge for runners looking to enjoy some summer trail miles through Shelby Farms Park. Wildlife sightings are common throughout the course, and the scenic run across the Beaver Lake levee heading toward the finish line creates one of the most unique finishes in Memphis trail running. ? DISTANCES • 5 Miler • 10 Miler ? PACKET PICKUP Friday, July 31 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM Beaver Lake Pavilion inside Shelby Farms Park The pavilion will also serve as the Start/Finish Line area on race morning. It is located just down the side road past the horse stables. ? RACE INFORMATION • This is a cupless race. All runners must carry their own cup, flask, handheld bottle, or hydration vest. • You are welcome to bring your own bag with nutrition, drinks, and supplies to leave at the Start/Finish area. • Porta potties will be available at the start line, along with nearby restrooms with running water. • The race will be professionally chip timed. Please wear your bib on the front and keep it visible at all times. ? AID STATIONS 5 Miler: Water stations around miles 1.5 and 3.5 10 Miler: Two loops of the 5-mile course with water stations around miles 1.5, 3.5, 5, 6.5, and 8.5 Please note: Aid stations will provide water only. Food and additional refreshments will be available at the 5-mile mark for 10 milers. ? SHOES If trail conditions remain dry, road shoes should work fine for the course, although trail shoes are also recommended. ? FREE RACE PHOTOS All race photos from the Cobra Den Trail Series will be free for participants to download. Mamba Trail Runners has covered the full cost of photography for the entire series, and the same photographer will capture all four races to help showcase the runners, trails, community, and atmosphere of the summer series. We will also be creating a Cobra Den Trail Series documentary featuring highlights and moments from all four events. ? POST-RACE Stick around after the race as we recognize the Top 3 Overall Male and Female finishers along with Age Group Award winners for both distances. While waiting for awards, enjoy snacks, drinks, cooling towels, music, and time with the trail running community. Awards will begin with the 5 Miler first, followed by the 10 Miler around 10:00 AM depending on finish times.
