Mitchell brings discipline, purpose, and mindfulness to his teaching. Rooted in Hatha, his classes blend strength and mobility with breath-centered awareness, helping students develop resilience both on and off the mat.
🪴What Is Hatha Yoga?
Hatha Yoga is a traditional style of yoga that focuses on mindful movement, breath awareness, and steady, intentional postures. It offers a slower pace than vinyasa, giving students time to explore proper alignment, build strength, and deepen flexibility.
In Hatha practice, each pose is held for several breaths, creating a balance of effort and ease while encouraging a calm, centered mind. Classes often include gentle warm-ups, standing and seated postures, breathwork (pranayama), and a grounding final relaxation.
