David Cronenberg has created a spectacle you can’t take your eyes off of. Scientist Seth Brundle’s (Jeff Goldblum) research into matter transportation has proven successful, until there is a fly in the ointment… Brundle’s horrific metamorphosis is witnessed by Veronica Quaife (Geena Davis) a sympathetic reporter, and the doctor’s love interest, chronicling his story.
