City Reads: Lust

City Theatre’s City Reads creates spaces where audiences gather for short plays, live music, and shared conversation. A curated selection of short plays read by leading local actors is offered at intimate, accessible spaces across the county. Audiences explore stories through themes such as family, identity, and love, then join in conversations led by City Theatre artists. Always free and open to all, City Reads makes live theatre part of everyday life in Miami.

Made possible with the support of the City of Coral Gables Cultural Arts Division and with the support of the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and the Cultural Affairs Council, the Miami-Dade County Mayor and Board of County Commissioners.

The Cafe at Books & Books in Coral Gables features an array of delicious offerings, from deliciously roasted coffee and locally freshly baked pastries to savory sandwiches, salads, and a selection of coffee, beer, and wine.
