Step into the shoes of an ecologist and explore the urban forest up close! This hands-on workshop in Mundy Park gives you the opportunity to experience how ecologists study forest ecosystems.
Using real field tools like DBH tapes and plant guides, you’ll measure trees, shrubs, and understorey plants, and get a closer look at the structure and diversity of the forest. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of forest ecology and the methods scientists use to monitor and study natural environments.
