For over 32 years, Sally Rodriguez was with the City of Dallas Parks and Recreation Department. Twenty of those years were spent managing the Recreation Centers and Parks District. During this time, she loved discovering the history of the Park System. Join us March 4 and take a stroll through time to see how the State Fair of Texas became the City of Dallas’ second park. (Was Big Tex always a part of the State Fair of Texas?) View all the changes as Dallas hosted the 1936 World’s Fair and much more!
