ARGENTINE TANGO is a beautiful, connected, social dance. 
Come and learn the essentials of tango at our Beginners Intensive Afternoon! 
Saturday 19th September 1.30 - 4.00pm at Marks Tey Parish Hall. 

This session is for absolute beginners and those wishing to revise the fundamental elements of this gorgeous dance. 

What to expect:
Basic posture: Learning the hold (or embrace), and weight changes
The Tango Walk: Practicing walking solo and with a partner 
Connection: Understanding how leaders signal and followers interpret movement
Tango vocabulary: some essential tango figures to get you moving on the dance floor

You don't need to book or come with a partner as we change partners throughout the lesson.

⏰Time: 1.30 - 4.00pm
Schedule:
Class 1.30 - 2.30pm
Break for tea/coffee 2.30 - 2.45pm
Class 2.45 - 3.45pm
Practise time 3.45 - 4.00pm
Tea, coffee and biscuits provided.
