- **Event Description**: Welcome back to the amazing Convention of Women Drummers, Makers and Players!! Now in its 4th year!!

This 2 day event is packed full to the brim with drum based workshops, talks and performances.

We have a huge marketplace stacked full of drum based and holistic and crafty wares, 2 kitchens and just a huge bundle of joy about the place!

There's a late night Saturday with entertainment, sit down meal (additional cost) and the coveted the Golden Beater Awards!

On Sunday we draw the raffle, where amongst many prizes, there is a specially made drum too!

(This is a women only convention but there is Drum Con in April which is open to all)

So if you love drum or want to try drumming, love the idea of a safe space full of women drumming and experiencing drum based offerings or you just love being in community, in tribe with others.... This is the place to be.

Tickets are still only £65 for the whole thing and include the workshops, late night entertainment etc. We will sell out so it's best to get yours as soon as you can.

Lots of people make a weekend of it, staying somewhere nearby. There is the Delta by Marriot Colchester Hotel 4 mins away which is highly recommended, as well as many other hotels and Airbnbs nearby.

Trains direct from London come in to Marks Tey Station, about 10mins walk away and theres a huge car park too.

The programme will be announced once finalised but you can expect:

❤️ Dancing with the frame drum workshops

💜 Learning about indigenous drum practices

💙 A huge community drum circle
