If you're curious about life in Denmark this online talk offers the perfect introduction to the country's cultural roots and social dynamics. With centuries of history woven into everything from public holidays to personal habits, understanding Danish culture can open doors—both personally and professionally.

Carsten Jahnke, Associate Professor of History at the University of Copenhagen, will guide you through the customs, values, and social norms that shape modern Danish society. You'll learn about historical traditions, social trust, and the small, everyday behaviours that make life in Denmark uniquely Danish.

This is an online event, consisting of a 30-minute talk followed by a 15-minute Q&A where you can ask our expert any question about the topic at hand. Do note that the chat will be turned off during the entire event. Instead, use the Q&A section in the top menu to submit your questions.
