Sofia Kourtesis released her debut album Madres (Ninja Tune) in 2023, which received widespread acclaim from international media outlets such as Resident Advisor, Mixmag, and Pitchfork. She has toured with Bicep, Four Tet, and Floating Points, and performed at major festivals including Glastonbury and Primavera, as well as O Days and Roskilde Festival in Denmark.
On November 8, Cecil AM and O Days present a special club night with Kourtesis at Hotel Cecil, where she also delivered a big party last year. This time, she will be supported by Kasper Bjørke and Dave DK.
Sofia Kourtesis grew up in Lima, Peru, but now lives in Berlin. Her DJ sets reflect both Berlin’s club scene and the rich musical heritage of her homeland, offering everything from blazing house and latin club to cumbia and beyond.
