Med sin nye tour Spor i Sindet inviterer Kira Skov sit publikum helt tæt på. I marts 2026 besøger hun kirker og museer over hele landet med en række intime koncerter, hvor hun følger sporet tilbage gennem sit eget liv og sin musik. Fra de første sange skrevet som helt ung til de nyeste udgivelser. I selskab med sine mangeårige samarbejdspartnere Silas Tinglef (guitar) og Maria Jagd (violin) vil Kira udfolde sangene i deres mest nøgne form og lade ordene og historierne træde frem i lyset.

OM KONCERTEN
”Jeg glæder mig til at folde de nye og gamle sange ud på ny. Klæde dem af og sætte fokus på de nære fortællinger, hvor teksterne får lov at stå i centrum,” fortæller Kira Skov. ”De rum, vi spiller i, er historiefortællere i sig selv. De rummer genklangen af liv, tro og kærlighed – og giver plads til fordybelse og refleksion.”
Koncerterne er en naturlig forlængelse af Kiras seneste album What Ties Us Together, som modtog store roser fra både anmeldere og publikum, og kredser om familie, arv og de spor, vi sætter i hinanden gennem livet.
Med kun tre musikere på scenen og en stærk symbiose mellem stemme, guitar og violin, bliver Spor i Sindet en koncert, hvor alt overflødigt er skrællet væk. Tilbage står de rå følelser, de nærefortællinger og den særlige energi, der opstår i mødet mellem kunstner, rum og publikum.
OM KIRA SKOV
I mere end to årtier har Kira Skov været en af de mest markante stemmer på den danske musikscene. Fra gennembruddet med Kira & The Kindred Spirits til et omfattende solokatalog har hun skabt et værk, der ubesværet bevæger sig mellem det poetiske, det rå og det spirituelle. Hendes stemme rummer både styrke og skrøbelighed og formår at skabe en dyb forbindelse til sit publikum.
Hun har samarbejdet med internationale navne som Mark Lanegan, Bonnie “Prince” Billy og John Parish, og hendes prisvindende udgivelser tæller blandt andet The Echo of You, Spirit Tree og I nat bliver vi gamle. Med Spor i Sindet åbner Kira et nyt kapitel. En musikalsk og menneskelig vandring gennem de aftryk, der former os.

With her new tour, 'Spor i Sindet’, Kira Skov invites her audience up close. In March 2026, she will visit churches and museums all over the country with a series of intimate concerts, where she follows the trail back through her own life and music. From the first songs written asa very young person to the latest releases. Together with her long-time collaborators Silas Tinglef (guitar) and Maria Jagd (violin), Kira will unfold the songs in their most naked form and let the words and storiescome to light.

ABOUT THE CONCERT
"I'm looking forward to unfolding the new and old songs again. Stripping them down and focusing on the intimate stories, where the lyrics are allowed to take center stage," says Kira Skov. "The spaces we play in are storytellers in themselves. They contain the resonance of life, faithand love–and provide space for contemplation and reflection."
The concerts are a natural extension of Kira's latest album What Ties Us Together, which received great praise from both critics and audiences, and revolves around family,heritage and the traces we leave n each other throughout life.
With only three musicians on stage and a strong symbiosis between voice,guitar and violin, ‘Spor i Sindet’ becomes a concert where everything superfluous is stripped away. What remains are the raw emotions, the intimate stories and the special energy that arises in the encounter between artist, space and audience.

For more than two decades, Kira Skov has been one of the most distinctive voices on the Danish music scene. From her breakthrough with Kira & The Kindred Spirits to an extensive solo catalogue, she has created a body of work that effortlessly moves between the poetic, the raw and the spiritual. Her voice contains both strength and fragility and manages to create a deep connection with her audience.
